Process

  1. Send Business plan – This should include a description of your goods/service, market overview, competitive position, barriers to entry, details of any intellectual property, financial projections and CVs of key staff. Please provide up to date accounts if the business is actively trading.
  2. First Meeting - If the plan meets our criteria we will request an initial meeting with an investment executive.
  3. Subsequent DiscussionsIf we are still interested, we are likely to ask for further information and meetings with other members of our team.
  4. Outline Proposal - This will be an indication of the terms under which we will invest subject to committee approval and due diligence. This can help you in discussions with potential co-investors.
  5. Investment Committee Approval
  6. Legal Stages and due diligence – We will finalise the shareholders’ agreement and articles of association with you. We will verify the information you have provided and we may wish to talk to your existing or potential customers.
  7. Completion – All documents are signed with the company and private co-investors, followed by transfer of funds. The investment may be tranched subject to the achievement of milestones.
  8. Post-completion Obligations -  There are certain reporting requirements of the fund which must be adhered to.
